Where is the convention being held?
The convention is being held at the Darwin Convention Centre, Stokes Hill Road, Darwin, Northern Territory.

When is the convention being held?
The convention will run from Saturday 18 October to Wednesday 22 October 2008.

What is the conference dress code?
The following dress code is recommended:
Saturday Sunset by the Sea and Welcome Reception -casual
Business Sessions - business casual
For those attending tours, please wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking.

Do I need to pre-select which sessions I attend?
Yes, please complete the registration form indicating which of the three streams you will be attending.

The Emerging Leader program is an interactive workshop style program. As such, delegates wishing to attend the Emerging Leader program will be required to attend all the EL sessions.

The Governance stream is targeted at Directors whilst the Management stream is targeted at CEOs and senior management, however, delegates can choose to alternate between the two streams as required.

When does registration close?
You can register online or by faxing the registration form to the convention secretariat until Thursday, 9 October 2008. After this time, you will need to register onsite at the Convention Registration Desk at the Darwin Convention Centre. The Registration Desk will be open from 1pm on Saturday, 18 October 2008.

Should I have received a confirmation letter?
Yes, once you register for the convention, you will receive a confirmation letter within seven (7) business days, this will summarise all necessary information on your participation at the convention including your accommodation booking. If you have any specific queries about the convention, please call the convention secretariat on +61 2 9436 0232.

What happens if I am unable to attend and need to cancel my registration?
Cancellation received in writing to the convention secretariat no later than COB Friday, 19 September 2008 will incur a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after this time will receive no refund, however, a replacement delegate can be sent with no penalty.

Cancellations of accommodation must be submitted in writing to the Convention Secretariat before Wednesday, 10 September 2008. Accommodation deposits will NOT be refunded on or after Wednesday, 10 September 2008.

Delegates who confirm attendance and provide credit card details but do not advise of cancellation before the 30 day period of conference commencement will incur charges for the 'no-show' rate, as penalised by the hotel. This charge is calculated as the room rate per night multiplied by the dates booked and secured. Please ensure that the accommodation dates are correct on your registration.
